Wayne State University graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Presently: Student in the School of Education, University of Michigan- Dearborn studying Masters of Arts in Teaching.
Experience
Currently a certified Substitute Teacher in Wayne County. Would like to tutor in order to guide students in the right direction at a younger age. Inform them of steps needed to take in order to excel in their high school and college education. Providing them with the necessary information to achieve their goals in the most time efficient and successful way is my primary goal. I have received great feedback throughout all my writing classes through high school and college. I've often been asked by my colleagues and family members for help with their writing assignments due to my recognized achievements in writing. Also plan on becoming an English teacher as that is my focus in my studies to become a Secondary Teacher. I have taken numerous psychology classes with it being my major. I have been on the Deans list at both Wayne State University in my undergraduate degree and the University of Michigan- Dearborn in my post-bachelor for my academic achievements. I have also taken science classes to work toward my degree and have excelled in them all including Biology and General Chemistry. My ability to teach myself the material throughout these classes regardless of the instructor is reason to why I believe I will make a great Tutor. Throughout high school I was placed In advanced Math for my above average achievements in Algebra. I have also been of great guidance toward my peers with their academic goals and development of the most effective and productive study habits.
